The School of Geography at the University of Nottingham invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the Tomorrow's Cities team.

  • Salary: £27,511 to £33,797 per annum depending on skills and experience (minimum £30,942 with relevant PhD)

The post-holder will implement a project already underway to investigate the causes of urban risk production across the Hub's four focus cities and develop a new stream of work focussing on the politics of stakeholder initiatives to address risk and resilience. The successful candidate will be working towards, or have, a PhD or equivalent in geography, development studies, urban development or political science and background in the study of disaster risk, climate change adaptation and / or urban development. They will have skills in qualitative research and the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences.
