The Climate and Development Knowledge Network has recently launched Communicating climate change: A practitioner’s guide, which draws on insights from Africa, Asia and Latin America.

The guide shares tips for communicating climate change effectively, and is intended for communication practitioners and other champions of climate action working in developing countries.

While the focus of Tomorrow’s Cities is urban disaster risk, not climate change, the communication principles strongly overlap – principles such as the importance of identifying and understanding your audience, tailoring communication outputs and 2-way digital and face-to-face engagement.
