The Tomorrow’s Cities Community of Practice Webinar Series is a collaboration between the RISK-KAN and Tomorrow’s Cities Project. RISK-KAN Working Group on Cities and Critical Infrastructure is a future earth supported international network (https://www.risk-kan.org/). The Tomorrow’s Cities Project team was funded by the UK Research and Innovation (https://tomorrowscities.org/mission/). Both are transdisciplinary networks focused on bringing science to better manage risk in complex urban environments. This series aims to serve as an opportunity to exchange experiences, learn from practice, and strengthen collaboration.

The webinar “Sharing lessons on enabling the uptake of research tools into policy or project application” explores experiences, challenges, and practical approaches for transferring research outcomes into real-world application. Contributions will provide insights into enabling factors, collaboration processes, and lessons learned from applying research tools in different contexts. Interactive discussions will create space for exchange and reflection on how research can support implementation and decision-making beyond academia. The aim is to inspire participants and encourage stronger connections between research and practice.
